Come to our birthday party on Friday 17th June and help us celebrate the ten year anniversary of getting the keys to this little pub of love. 

Our original birthday plans in December got scrapped at the last minute due to Omicron (boooo!), but now there’s nothin’ gonna stop the fun, baby! 

There’ll be half price pints from our fave local brewers Hackney Brewery, 40FT Brewery and The Five Points Brewing Company from 4-7pm, and Filthy Buns slinging out their award winning burgers ’til 10pm, with a special birthday offer of just £5 for their house burgers (both meaty and vegan varieties) from 5-7pm…and from 9.30pm it’s one of our legendary ‘whole pub turns into a dance-floor’ nights ‘Certified Bangers’ with resident DJ Callum playing anything from ABBA to The Yeah Yeah Yeahs. That’s right. 

We’ve had the best decade running this lovely little local and met some very special people along the way….staff, regulars, DJs, drag queens, quiz hosts, kitchen residents, local brewers….and we wanna party with you all. 

We were handed the keys on the 22nd December 2011…We gave it a good scrub, lit some candles and opened the doors that very same night. There was no brand spanking new make-over, just some small changes here and there, as and when. The Three Compasses is hundreds of years old, and we’ve strived to stick to its roots as a proper East End boozer. No pretension, just the best local craft beer, award winning burger residents, friendly staff, awesome atmosphere for watching sport, fun DJ nights, a lovely beer garden, and the best pub quiz  & drag bingo in London.
