Covid-19 House Rules

This is about respect. You might not be concerned about Covid-19, but other people around you might be, so let’s stick to the rules to keep everyone and their loved ones safe. Yes! 

• It is now a legal requirement for customers to wear a face mask when walking inside our pub, so please bring one and wear it when going to the toilet. You will be required to remain seated at all other times. If you want to smoke but are not seated outside, please smoke on the pavement just outside the garden

• Table service is now mandatory, so please wait to be seated and you'll be able to use your phone to order food and drinks

• The software we use to take your orders also acts as our NHS track and trace system

• We're not allowed to have any raised voices as it increased the risk of transmission, so we can't allow any shouting, singing or footie chants I'm afraid! And we might have to leave the sound of the footie off for this reason too. Sorry!

• Please keep 2 metres away from people who are not in your group

• Tables are limited to 6 people maximum. Tables must not be pushed together, and there can be no table-hopping

• Follow our one way system. 

• Regularly wash your hands thoroughly or use the hand sanitiser available at the entrance and mounted on the wall outside the loos.

• Please cough or sneeze into a tissue or into the crook of your arm if you’ve no tissue

• Failure to stick the the rules will mean no service, being barred or a fixed penalty notice. No messin!
